Conor McGregor Drops Huge Hint For Return Fight In Series Of Cryptic Tweets

The former UFC champ has been out of action since snapping his leg inside the octagon in July during his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier.

The notorious one Conor McGregor has hinted that his next fight is set in stone with the announcement imminent.

The MMA star has been out of action since snapping his leg inside the octagon in July during his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier.

But in true Mystic Mac fashion, the Irishman has now sent out a series of cryptic tweets seemingly plotting the downfall of his future opponent.

He tweeted: “I feel like I could do you’s all in. Handy. Any list.

“I hit you, I change you.

“And I’m chomping at the bit to see you different.”

The enigmatic behaviour didn’t end there, with McGregor acting like a social media rapper.

He continued: “The Mac Daddy back in action.

“Sitting on a billion, plotting a killing.

“Tick, tock, my left hand is a glock.”

The former UFC featherweight and lightweight double champion then amped up the tension, tweeting: “The date of my return is…

“My next fight is…

“If you want a knock off me, step up and say your piece. I’m still picking who.”

All that teasing for nothing it had seemed.

Well, apparently not, as McGregor continued his Twitter rant alluding to the details of his next fight being confirmed.

He finally tweeted: “Just kidding I well know who. When. What weight. Where. How it goes. Everything. I see dead people.”

Seems like only a matter of time before we all know what Mystic Mac knows.

He isn’t without his fair share of suitors for his return fight either, with the likes of Charles Oliveria, Michael Chandler, Justin Gaethje, and Tony Ferguson all calling out McGregor in the past year.

Meanwhile, the man himself has been steadfast in outlining his intentions on returning to face UFC welterweight champ Kamaru Usman.

In an interview with TheMacLife, he said: “Myself versus Usman for the 170-pound title in my comeback fight is the one I'm eyeballing at the minute.

He continued: “And I feel confident against Usman -- a jab-happy, sloppy, orthodox wrestler with no submissions whatsoever. What's he going to do? Where's the danger here? I don't see danger... No one has ever obtained three titles in three divisions like I will do if we make this fight."

UFC president Dana White anticipates the Irishman to return to action towards the latter half of the year.

In March, he told SunSport: “We're looking at early fall if everything goes right.”

He added: “If his leg heals right and he gets the clearance to really start training, then possibly early fall."
