Bodycam Footage Shows Moment Jon Jones Was Arrested After Hall Of Fame Induction

The UFC legend was arrested in Las Vegas hours after the Hall of Fame ceremony and footage shows him headbutt the police car.

Bodycam footage of Jon Jones arrest in September, following his induction in the UFC Hall of Fame, has shown the former light heavyweight champion headbutt the police car.

Jones was being honoured last year, ahead of UFC 266, with the legendary fighter's first match with Alexander Gustafsson being inducted into the Hall of Fame.

However things turned sour just hours later, when Jones was arrested in the early hours of the following morning in Las Vegas on charges of domestic violence and tampering with a vehicle.

Footage of his arrest has now emerged, with bodycam footage of the incident showing exactly what happened.

Jones can be seen headbutting a police car, after getting frustrated and angry, asking if 'a black man can't drink,' and swearing at the officers.

"Humiliating me [on] my Hall of Fame night," the former UFC lightweight champion says, "You f***ing nerd. I hate you. I hate you! I hate you! You f***ing nerd. I hate you so much.

"Say your name publicly. ... You turned me in my Hall of Fame night, just because I’m big and Black. And what did I do? .... I came from my Hall of Fame ceremony, and I’m Black, and I did nothing to you."

"Bro, hang me. Hurt me and kill me. What did I do?" the UFC legend screams later on, as some of the scenes are pretty distressing to see.

"A Black man can’t drink? Getting elected into the Hall of Fame, and this is what I’ve got?"

He later shouts "I hate you" before slamming his head into the car, as he's told to calm down, before getting put into the car for his act of violence.

Jones hasn't fought for over two years, last defeating Dominik Reyes in February 2020 with a unanimous decision, in a fight that some thought that Reyes had actually won.

He vacated the title soon after, with Reyes claiming it was because 'Bones' could no longer compete with the top contenders in the light heavyweight division.

The New York born fighter has been long expected to move up to heavyweight but contractual disputes and his latest controversy have delayed that so far.
