It’s not often Conor McGregor apologises for the words that come out of his mouth, but this gaffe left him tracking back.
The UFC star appeared on Fox News to make a mammoth $1 million charity donation to Tunnel to Towers who help families of emergency responders.
The Irishman got incredibly reasonably passionate when praising the work of 9/11 fundraiser Frank Siller whose brother died while saving others in the World Trade Centre Attack.

Although, he may have forgotten he was live on television.
He told Frank: “Frank I’m honoured to support you.
“I wanted to say your brother Stephen is a f*****g hero.”

The MMA ace stopped himself and quickly covered his mouth before adding: “Excuse me. He is a hero, you’re a hero.”
The studio audience gasped and began to laugh at the ordeal.
And although he may have been a little red-faced it was an incredibly wholesome way to drop an f-bomb live on television.
McGregor proceeded to lift up a cheque worth $1 million to give to Siller as the pair embraced in a great moment.

Can’t blame Conor for getting as passionate as he did.
The conversation turned to McGregor’s next exploits in the UFC as they chatted about his proposed fight with Michael Chandler.
The former lightweight champion hasn’t fought since July 2021 when he broke his legend against Dustin Poirier.

Over the past month, he has returned to MMA as a coach for the upcoming reality series The Ultimate Fighter.
Chandler is the opposition coach, with plans for the two to eventually square off in the Octagon.
McGregor told Fox News: "I'm hoping end of summer. We're working towards late summer.
"I always train, I train everyday but I was filming the show and I've got a couple of commitments, this tour as well, this tour around St Patricks week.

"But when this finishes it will be isolation, I'll go in formulate my camp."
