Unseen footage of Conor McGregor at Monaco Grand Prix emerges

McGregor was at the Monaco Grand Prix and enjoyed some of the race weekend from a yacht where his skills were noticed.

Footage of Conor McGregor at the Monaco Grand Prix from his 'neighbour' in the harbour has emerged and he looks to still have fighting on his mind.

You never know which celebrity is going to rock up at Monaco for Formula One's annual visit to the French principality but you're sure they'll be plenty of them.

On Sunday, UFC star McGregor was probably the most recognisable face amongst the crowds as he was in attendance to see Max Verstappen win pretty easily.

Fans were worried after seeing him because they though his appearance but in jeopardy the chance of him fighting and beating Michael Chandler any time soon.

Now more footage of the Irishman during his time at the Grand Prix weekend has emerged from the person who was on the yacht next to him, and it shows the MMA star shadow boxing.

The UFC's first ever dual weight champion has been out of action for nearly two years after breaking his leg in his third fight with Dustin Poirier.

There was a lot of hope that he'd be back in the octagon this summer and Chandler has long been expected to be his next opponent.

As of yet there is no confirmation for a date or venue that the pair could meet but they are both mentors on the latest Ultimate Fighter series.

The 31st season of the UFC's reality show, which pits two teams of fighters against each other, kicked off earlier this week and the two coaches were seen getting in a heated exchange in the trailer.

Hopefully McGregor's partying and enjoying the F1 won't actually get in the way of facing his rival, in what has the potential to be an absolute slobberknocker.

McGregor, as well as other celebrities which included 'Spaniard' Thibaut Courtois, and the rest of the fans were surprised by a bit of rain during the race on Sunday.

It added to the drama of a race that has often been criticised in recent years for the lack of overtaking and has usually needed some sort of mistake to make it interesting.

Verstappen was able to keep his lead from start to finish after being helped by Aston Martin's gamble to switch Fernando Alonso's tyres just before the rain came.

The only bad part of the weekend for the reigning world champions was during Saturday's qualifying when Sergio Perez's crash led to the floor of their car being exposed for their rivals to learn from.
