Conor McGregor Releases New Training Video And Fans Are Very Concerned Over His UFC Return

Conor McGregor shared new training footage online ahead of his UFC return.

​UFC fans have expressed their concerns after Conor McGregor released a new training video ahead of his highly-anticipated​ return. 

McGregor is closing in on his UFC comeback having nearly completed his recovery from his leg break against Dustin Poirier last summer. 

The 33-year-old has kept his army of fans updated through videos on social media, but his latest training footage has raised concerns over his Octagon return. 

He shared a clip of himself hitting the pads, accompanied with the caption: "Keepin it tasty."

The video shows the 'Notorious' showing off his striking skills, but fans aren't impressed. 

Former UFC champion Henry Cejudo even weighed in as he sent him a warning. 

YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul also reacted to McGregor's training footage by claiming he would knock him out in "boxing or MMA."

"I would KO Conor in boxing or MMA. Right hand of God," he tweeted.


One Twitter user wrote: "Chins up hands are down. I don’t like what I’m seeing big dawg."​

A second tweeted: "That’s why he get beat up all the time look where he keep his hands."

A third added: "He’s getting smoked when he fights next."​

A fourth commented: "There ain’t no way he’s being serious with this vid, fully baiting everyone."

McGregor hasn't won a UFC fight since January 2020 when he thrashed Donald Cerrone. 

He's currently on a two-fight losing skid, having lost back-to-back fights against Poirier. 

A trilogy bout with 'The Diamond' appears to be off the cards, with the veteran American reportedly in line to fight Nate Diaz.

Charles Oliveira​, meanwhile, will defend his UFC lightweight title against Justin Gaethje - while Michael Chandler is set to face Tony Ferguson. 

Most of the UFC's premier lightweights are booked, with McGregor backed to meet Jorge Masvidal in a 'BMF' bout. 

That's according to Chael Sonnen who believes it's the 'single biggest fight' in the UFC. 

"I do believe the single biggest fight, if you wanna get the world's attention and really have some fun.," he explained. 

"If you really wanna have some fun, you just get Conor McGregor and you put him in there with Jorge Masvidal.

"You put the BMF title on the line. You pick the arena. We will sell that out in 24 hours."
