Dillon Danis has been panned on social media after posting footage of him sparring.
The 28-year-old returned to training yesterday after a spell out of action and said he would be "taking everyone’s head off mark my words" after his first day back.
But judging by the quality of his work in the session, it was universally agreed by MMA fans that no heads will be getting taken off.
Danis, who is 2-0 in Bellator, looked incredibly shoddy with his striking technique in what was a messy sequence all-round.
His defence too was lacklustre, with Conor McGregor's teammate leaving himself exposed to a straight, clean shot early on.

'El Jeje's background is in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where he is a black belt. But while his grappling game is strong, fans concurred that his striking was anything but.
Shit man you make Ben Askren’s striking look good ffs 😂😂

Middleweight Danis trained with McGregor ahead of his fights against Nate Diaz and Khabib Nurmagomedov - heavily involved in the melee that followed in Las Vegas following the lightweight title bout.
He hasn't fought since June 2019 when he submitted Max Humphrey at Bellator 222.
Danis has had a personal feud with Jake Paul and was said to be in the frame to fight him in the squared circle before injury hit.
In October he appeared to be choked out by a security guard outside a club, while more recently he's been beefing with MMA journalist Ariel Helwani.
Helwani welcomed the New Year in by absolutely ending Danis on Twitter.
Damn Danis went in on Ariel Helwani😂😂 pic.twitter.com/D3DAJgmxEX

Guys if you think life sucks right now just think you could have begged for 3 years to fight an 0-0 YouTuber and 3 years later still not be popular enough or good enough to even be considered a worthy opponent for him. Imagine that.

In other words, you could be @dillondanis.
I don’t know what’s sadder:
— Ariel Helwani (@arielhelwani) January 8, 2022
The fact that it took @dillondanis six whole days to reply or the fact that he had to call upon the worst judge in MMA history, Douglas Crosby, to write that shitty material for him because he couldn’t think of anything witty himself.
At least Danis has his next fight sorted.
