Dana White has told Francis Ngannou he can leave the UFC if he 'doesn't want to be with us.'
The UFC and Ngannou have been at a financial crossroads in recent months, regarding how often the heavyweight champion fights.

Ngannou has publically criticised the promotion in the past and White is happy to let him go despite his obvious star power.
"Look, if you want to be with us, we'd love to have you," the UFC president told ESPN.
"If you don't want to be with us, no problem. It's all good.

"I think his contract, and this is off the top of my head, if he wins he still has time with us after this fight. He'd probably have one more fight.
"These things happen. Sometimes you don't always come to terms with people."
White then explained why it's important for fighters to choose their management team carefully.
"When you're a fighter, you have to be careful who represents you," he continued.

"I don't think he's had the best representation."
'The Predator' will defend his title against Ciryl Gane at UFC 270 and it's a fight Ngannou isn't too pleased about.
Gane defeated Derrick Lewis back at UFC 265 in August to become interim heavyweight champion, after Ngannou had won the title from Stipe Miocic in March.

The 34-year-old didn't understand why UFC were so quick to award an interim title when his return to the Octagon would've been better to organise.
"I don't recognize [Gane's] belt," he bluntly told Sports Illustrated in a recent interview.
"I'm the undisputed heavyweight champion. [Gane's belt] isn't legitimate, it is a replacement.
"The presence of the champion makes the interim title invalid. And I'm here."

UFC have also failed to make the highly-anticipated bout between Ngannou and Jon Jones a reality.
Jones has been eager to have a shot at Ngannou for some time and vacated his light heavyweight title last year.
