MMA Fighter Suffers Horrific Nose Disfigurement After Copping Brutal Knee Strike

In his second ever professional MMA fight Blake Perry was left with a gnarly-looking nose that became the talk of the fighting world.

Fighter Blake Perry has become the talk of the MMA world for all the wrong reasons.

In his second ever professional MMA fight Perry was left with a horribly disfigured broken nose after copping a brutal knee from his opponent Marcel McCain.

The horrific injury took place during former UFC star Urijah Faber’s A1 Combat on Sunday night (July 31).

McCain had captured Perry with a tight Thai clinch in the first round, and didn’t let the striking opportunity go to waste as he unleashed a hellacious knee that caught Perry with heavy impact.

Just looking at the knee you knew there was no way a part of Perry’s face wouldn’t have copped a brutal knock.

As Perry came up, the full extent of the injury was on full display as his nose was bent in an ‘S’ shape and blood was dripping out the sides.

Seriously gnarly image.

Despite having half his face hanging off, Perry showed true guts and completed the rest of the round to the astonishment of everyone watching.

The MMA fighter even wanted to continue on with the matchup, however, the referee had the common sense to wave off the contest after taking one look at the nose.

If you ever want to explain the risks of Mixed Martial Arts to someone just simply show them this photo here.

The fight world was in shock by the disfigurement with many also praising the tough-guy nature of Perry to continue in the fight.

One Twitter account said: “Not a doctor but that’s broke.”

Another tweeted: “Are… are noses supposed to curve like an S?”

Whilst another quipped: “Owen Wilson coming out of his trailer to shoot a movie.”

Another said: “Man got his nose knocked into the multiverse of madness.”

Despite the injury, Perry was in high spirits, taking to Instagram to thank his opponent and reveal that he’s already got his next fight booked for this weekend.

I think he might want to let that one heal before getting back in the Octagon though.

ONE Championship fighter Angela Lee replied: “Damn Blake!! You’re so tough man.”

Whilst Bellator competitor Ben Parrish responded: “Tough as nails.”

The ref’s stoppage of the fight meant Blake suffered his first loss as a professional fighter with his record now sitting at 1-1.
