UFC superstar Conor McGregor has revealed the proudest achievement of his life that may surprise fans

Conor McGregor has revealed the proudest achievement of his legendary career and it may surprise some people.

McGregor has accomplished many feats in the UFC since making his debut in the promotion back in April 2013.

He burst onto the scene after destroying Marcus Brimage in just one minute and seven seconds.

The 'Notorious' went onto become a two-weight UFC champion, claiming the UFC featherweight and lightweight titles - holding them simultaneously.

He beat Jose Aldo in just 13 seconds before stopping Eddie Alvarez to win the UFC lightweight belt.

McGregor broke numerous UFC records along the way, securing the fastest stoppage in a UFC championship fight, among others.

But the proudest achievement of his career has nothing to do with his impressive UFC accolades.

The 35-year-old explained that his children are the proudest achievement of his career. Check it out below:

Speaking before his fourth child, he said: "But for me, my proudest achievement is my children. I have three children. So, no matter what we achieve in this world, our successes... it is nothing unless we can pass down for our children and raise our children correct."

McGregor added: "That for me is the most important success and accomplishment that I will have achieved.

"Life is a marathon, not a sprint. But for me, it's passing it on for my kids. Not even to compete and fight, just to be a good father to set a good example and to be able to give them and support them and guide them in this life."

McGregor is the proud father of four children with Dee Devlin.

They welcomed their fourth children last November.

McGregor, who hasn't fought since July 2021, is on a two-fight losing skid, having lost back-to-back fights against Dustin Poirier.

But he's closing in on his UFC return and has been linked with a fight against Michael Chandler at International Fight Weekend in June.
