By now, most people will know who Hafþór 'The Mountain' Björnsson is. Simply, the man is a colossus.

But he is nothing compared to Olivier Richters, who, at an incredible 7ft 2in, has been dubbed the 'world's tallest bodybuilder' - he makes even the massive Games of Thrones star looks tiny.

Speaking to Yahoo, the Dutch strongman says he has always stood out from the crowd and even at the age of 14 was towering above his peers.

He said: "I felt like Goofy: tall, slender, lanky, a bit like a walking skeleton. Feeling like that made me quiet and introvert.

Olivier towers above most men.

"I stuffed my face with everything I could find. In the beginning I only gained fat. I didn't know anything about nutrition or what my body needed to grow.

"I went to the gym for the first time in my life and gained 20 kilos in two years. The third year I reached some sort of a plateau where I didn't gain anymore. Your body gets used to changes, so you have to shock it to be able to change something.

"I looked into the lifestyle of bodybuilders online and that helped me gain another 50 kilos in the five years that followed. I weigh 150 kilos right now. The weight is fine, but when I look in the mirror, I see a lot of things that still need improvement."

At 7ft 2in, the Dutchman is a real-life giant.

As you can imagine, it takes a lot of food to maintain such a huge physique, and Olivier says he wolfs down seven meals a day, totaling 6,400 calories, 450 of which are protein.

The bodybuilder-turned-actor was on Good Morning Britain, where he spoke about the difficulties of keeping up such a strict regime.

He said: "It's a constant struggle because every two-and-a-half hours you have to get 1,000 calories in just to maintain this size. The human body consumes so much energy and it needs that push from protein."

Olivier also spoke about his role in the upcoming blockbuster, Kingsman: The Great Game.

Speaking about landing the role, he said: "As a little kid I looked up to Richard Kiel, the actor who played Jaws in James Bond and I never imagined I would be as tall as him because he was also 7ft 2in, so he was one of the reasons I wanted to get into the movie industry.

"I heard that I got the casting for Kingsman about half a year ago. When I heard that I got the role I had tears in my eyes.

Speaking to Good Morning Britain, the bodybuilder-turned actor said he had just finished filming on the new Kingsman movie.

"The casting was really intense, I had to show that I could fight and act. It's due out next February and it will be the prequel to Kingsman."
