Barcelona captain Lionel Messi and Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo have been predicted as the two highest-rated base cards in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team.

EA Sports is preparing to reveal the player ratings for the highly anticipated title at 4pm UK time today.

Ahead of the official reveal, Dexerto has put forward its predictions for the 10 highest-rated players to feature in the fan-favourite online mode.

The publication believes that Messi and fierce rival Ronaldo will both hold a 93 rating in FIFA 21.

Messi, who is rated higher than Ronaldo in FIFA 21's rival title PES 2021, held a 94 overall in last year's FIFA 20.

Ronaldo has been predicted to retain his 93 rating from FIFA 20 and could now sit alongside the 33-year-old Argentine superstar in FIFA 21.

Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne, who was named PFA Player of the Year after a scintillating season, has been predicted a 91 rating.

Several other stars predicted to receive 91 overalls include Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar and Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.
