Floyd Mayweather's Rapid Fire Punching Might Make Logan Paul Regret Fight

It's safe to say the YouTuber will have his work cut out against the undefeated boxer

There's less than a month to go until Logan Paul steps in the ring to fight boxing legend Floyd Mayweather.

Between now and then, the YouTuber might want to spend his time focussing on his own game, rather than looking into what he's up against.

This clip of Mayweather relentlessly firing away at a heavy bag, for example, is probably best avoided:

It might look as though those punches aren't particularly powerful, but anyone who has boxed before will tell you, that ain't anywhere near as easy as he's making it look. The rhythm, the endurance, the occasional blistering hook. Ouch.

The video is from 2017, when Mayweather was preparing for his 50th and final professional bout against Conor McGregor, which he won by TKO, before bowing out of the ring with a perfect record.

Being Floyd 'Money' Mayweather, he has since returned to boxing for an exhibition bout, and on 6 June he will fight 26-year-old Paul.

Now, the pair's boxing records are vastly different, with Paul defeated by fellow YouTuber KSI. However, one thing they do have in common is the fact they both have loads of money and both want loads more.

Mayweather is the favourite, obviously.

But if the above video - and Mayweather's 50-0 record - is anything to go by, Paul and his ribs are really gonna have to earn those millions.

At 44, Mayweather may be past his prime, but you can't help but feel it would be a more competitive fight if they scheduled it for say, 6 June 2031 - reflected by the fact Paul is currently at 10/1 to pick up a win.

Still, both sides are doing their bit to hype up the fight, with the pair sharing a heated face-off on Thursday (6 May). Watch here:

At one point, Mayweather turned around and repeatedly screamed at Paul, "I'll kill you motherf**ker." Meanwhile, his security stepped in to deescalate the confrontation.

Logan's younger brother (and fellow YouTuber) Jake could also be seen getting right up in Mayweather's grill, before stealing his hat.

Mayweather subsequently said: "It's one thing to sell a fight, and people can say what they want, but one thing no one is going to do, is disrespect me."

Jake has since continued the beef, changing his name on Twitter to 'Gotcha Hat'.

And if that wasn't enough, he's even launched some merchandise off the back of it, with a variety of 'gotcha hat' hoodies, t-shirts and, of course, hats up for sale.

So perhaps Mayweather will be coming for the younger brother next.
