Former NFL player Brendan Langley has been arrested after footage emerged of the ex Denver Bronco knocking out a United Airlines employee in an ugly altercation.
The incident, which took place at Newark Airport in New Jersey, shows Langley retaliating by striking the employee multiple times after he was on the receiving end of a slap himself.
The football player then shouts at another employee, ‘did you see that?’ before going back at the airline worker.
Langley, who now plays for the Calgary Stampeders in the CFL, then proceeds to rain down some pretty unnerving punches on the employee as he falls to the ground bloodied before eventually staggering to his feet.

As the airline worker stumbles near the check-in area, looking very much concussed, he confronts the football player yet again.
Langley yells at him: “You want some more? He wants some more!”
Multiple cries of ‘stop’ can be heard throughout the video, which went viral on social media.
It is unclear what sparked the brawl, however, the Daily Mail report that it is believed to have begun when Langley used a wheelchair to transport his luggage instead of a $5 luggage cart.
Langley took to Twitter to re-lay his version of events.
He tweeted: “You can clearly see soooo many United employees watching everything unfold while I'm basically begging for help. Craziest part not one of them helped de-escalate the situation! It was like they wanted it to happen. Like I had a target on my back.”
He added: “Every angle shows me walking away from buddy, I had a whole ass flight that morning I did not want any smoke! He followed me all the way down to the kiosk just to cause me bodily harm. I'm honestly still shocked.”

TMZ reported that police arrested Brendan Langley and charged him with simple assault, while the United employee was not arrested despite Langley’s claim that the airline worker threw the first punch.
The employee, however, has been fired from his position at United airlines, according to The Washington Post.
In a statement, the airline said: “United Airlines does not tolerate violence of any kind at our airports or on board our planes and we are working with local authorities in their investigation of this matter.”
Langley was a round three pick in the 2017 NFL draft, playing 16 games at defensive back over the 2017 and 2018 seasons making six tackles and returning 10 kickoffs for 244 yards.
In February 2022, he was signed to a tryout at a training camp by Calgary Stampeders.
The Stampeders issued a statement on the incident: “The Calgary Stampeders football club is aware of the reports concerning Brendan Langley.
“The team is currently looking into the matter in order to learn the full details and will have no further comment until the investigation is complete.”
