NFL star Brian Robinson Jr introduced to 50 Cent's 'Many Men' after being shot twice

NFL star Brian Robinson Jr introduced to 50 Cent's 'Many Men' after being shot twice

A truly spine-tingling return to the NFL for a man who was fighting for his life just six weeks ago.

Brian Robinson Jr was given an emotional welcome to the NFL after surviving a shooting just a month prior.

Ahead of his debut for the Washington Commanders, the talented running back was introduced onto the field with 50 Cent's 'Many Men' playing in the background.

It made for truly spine-tingling scenes given the tune's eerie lyrics and the striking similarities between for 'Fiddy' and Robinson Jr himself.

On August 28th, 23-year-old Robinson Jr was shot in his butt and leg during an attempted carjacking, leaving him hospitalised and fighting for his life.

Thankfully, he made a rapid recovery from his emergency surgery and the 3rd round draft pick was released the following day.

But just six short weeks after that scary ordeal, he is now miraculously back on the football field and was welcomed to the NFL in the coolest way possible.

As he stood in the tunnel ahead of his Commanders debut, 50 Cent's hit classic 'Many Men' started playing over the loudspeakers inside the arena.

If there's anyone who knows a thing or two about surviving a shooting, it's rap legend 50 Cent.

50 was infamously shot 9 times in 2000 yet somehow survived to tell the tale.

But when Complex Sports posted the footage of his welcome online, it was called out by some fans.

"Brian Robinson was introduced to “Many Men” after returning from being shot twice in the leg 6 weeks ago," the caption read.

But some social media users pointed out that the Commanders, in fact, didn't play that song at all.

One bloke commented: "Not real sadly."

While another added: "Ain’t no way they would allow the PA to play the uncensored version. Nice edit tho."

On the other hand, many appeared to enjoy what they were seeing, calling it "tough", "cold" and "hard".

Even 50 Cent himself was loving it, taking to Instagram, saying: "That s**t ain’t stop nothing, when God has bigger plans it’s just a bump in the road. @b.robinson_4 right back in action."
