Drake Puts $1.3 Million Cryptocurrency Bet On Super Bowl LVI, His Best Friend Scoring In The Game

Drake Puts $1.3 Million Cryptocurrency Bet On Super Bowl LVI, His Best Friend Scoring In The Game

"All bets are in on the family."

Canadian rapper Drake has put a whopping $1.3 million bet on the LA Rams to beat the Cincinnati Bengals - while also putting his money on friend Odell Beckham Jr. to score.

Sunday's game at SoFi Stadium promises to be a thrilling encounter and the Rams are favourites to win their first Super Bowl in 22 years.

Drake took to Instagram and revealed a number of big-money wagers he's made on the eve of the NFL's showpiece clash.

The 35-year-old shared a number of screenshots and captioned his post: "All bets are in on the family."

Drake has used betting platform Stake to wager $600,000 of bitcoin on the Rams to lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy in California this weekend.

That'd net the 'Money in the Grave' hitmaker a return of $906,000.

He's placed a separate $500,000 on wide-receiver Beckham Jr. to amass over 63 yards while on the pitch.

One final flutter of $500,000 has seen Drake bet on a Beckham Jr. touchdown at anytime in the game. Talk about putting the weight of the world on one's shoulders.

It's something the 29-year-old seems to be relishing however as he commented under the post: "It's time."

Drake will start next week up by $2.8 million if every bet comes in.

Should he come up short though, that's a lot of bad things people have been wishing on him.

Drake and Beckham Jr. have been close friends for years and lived together while Drake was recording 'Views From The Six' in 2016.

Beckham Jr. was released by the Cleveland Browns last year and signed a lucrative one-year contract with the Rams.

His deal will expire at the end of this campaign and he's said he'll happily take a pay cut to stick around.

"Yeah, of course," Beckham Jr. immediately replied when asked the question. "Of course. I just really want to focus on winning this game because I feel like winning this game, everything else is gonna handle the rest.

"But this place, man, it feels good in my heart. It feels like a home."
