Tom Brady will 'NOT retire' and could make one final career move, he's already wanted by another team

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady will not retire again and the NFL legend could be snapped up by a different NFL team, according to sports analyst Colin Cowherd.

Brady, who is arguably one of the best NFL players of all time, made a shock U-turn on his retirement in 2022 and returned to action for the Buccaneers this season.

The Buccaneers punched their ticket to the playoffs after an incredible comeback against the Carolina Panthers, with Brady’s side clinching the NFC South division title.

Brady, who is in his 23rd NFL season, put in an impressive performance in the Buccaneers’ 30-24 win over the Panthers at the Raymond James Stadium on Sunday.

Todd Bowles’ men could potentially face either the Dallas Cowboys or the Philadelphia Eagles in their wild-card round.

Cowherd believes that Brady won’t call it time on a legendary playing career once the season is done, despite mounting speculation that he could retire again.

According to the Fox Sports analyst, the Las Vegas Raiders “want” to make a sensational swoop for the 45-year-old Brady if he doesn’t remain with the Buccaneers.

Speaking on The Herd with Colin Cowherd, he said: “Raiders want Brady.

“From the Las Vegas Review-Journal, [Las Vegas Raiders] owner Mark Davis, the reason they benched Derek Carr [is because] they wanted to keep him healthy so they wouldn’t have to pay him, it was a health issue.

“It’s nothing personal, but Mark Davis, the owner, wants a new quarterback. Financial risk of paying him, they benched him.

“They also have [players like] Maxx Crosby in his prime, Davante Adams in his prime, Darren Waller, Josh Jacobs, they want to get the most out of those star players.”

Cowherd continued: “If the Raiders can’t trade him, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, they are willing to cut him, cut Derek Carr, a quarterback for the DC listeners.

“I like Derek Carr, I think he’s a top 12 quarterback, maybe 11 or 12, but I like him. They’re going to move on and incur a very small $5.5m hard cap hit.”
