Jose Aldo Claims He Had Spies In Frankie Edgar's Training Room At UFC 200

Following Jose Aldo claiming the interim-featherweight title he's made quite the revelation.

The Brazilian rebounded from his devastating 13-second loss to Conor McGregor by out-pointing Frankie Edgar at UFC 200 subsequently being crowned the interim-champion.

After returning to his homeland, he told media at his famed academy Nova Uniao that with the help of a spy during fight week he was able to get the victory earlier in the month via MMA Fighting;

"If I kicked, he'd take me down. We had a few spies from the other side, people that were training close to him the entire week, and they always came and talked to us. So I had to stop kicking and (using) my left hand, because he would counter on that."

The 29-year-old reaffirmed his stance when he was quizzed about having spies in the American's training room;

"Of course I had (spies). Otherwise, why wouldn't I kick? That's my instinct. So we always have a spy. We send someone to be a part of that training (room) and then they give us information. We get that information and know what they are training."

He refused to identify his source though confirmed this isn't the first time he has done this kind of stunt. When the news surfaced, Edgar took to Instagram to voice his opinion. Obviously, he didn't seem happy.
