A dog has become a viral sensation after running the 100m just one second slower than Usain Bolt's world record.
During a high school athletics event in Utah, Holly the dog fancied a piece of the action and escaped her owners to dart onto the track
Gracie Laney of Logan high school was leading the way in the when Holly hilariously sabotaged the home stretch of the 4x200m relay event.
Displaying some serious pace to burn, Holly nearly tricked Laney on as she overtook at the very last moment before the leader crossed the finish line.
Incredibly, high school track and field website MileSplit have worked out that the Holly completed the 100m distance in around 10.5 seconds.

The world record is 9.58 seconds, achieved by eight-time Olympic gold medalist Bolt in Berlin back in 2009.
Despite the dog's interference, Logan were still awarded the win courtesy of a time of 1 minute 59.27 seconds for the heat.
With the Tokyo Olympics just around the corner, we're hoping Holly the hound gets a deserved call-up to the sprinting team.
A couple of years back, at the Elkmont Trackless Train Half Marathon in Canada, a dog decided to join the race after being let out for a wee.

Ludivine, a two-and-a-half year old Bloodhound., crawled under the garden fence, ran towards the start-line and ended up finishing in seventh place.
The dog was given a medal for her efforts, as owner April Hamlin, 41, described the moment following her impressive finish:
"All I did was open the door, and she ran the race on her own accord," she told Runner's World.

"My first reaction was that I was embarrassed and worried that she had possibly gotten in the way of the other runners."
