The world's highest-paid athletes of 2021 have been revealed with the likes of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and LeBron James making the top ten.
Forbes have listed the world's highest-paid athletes of 2021 with UFC superstar Conor McGregor taking top spot, earning a staggering $180 million over the last 12 months.

Most of that amount comes from the sale of his majority stake in whiskey brand Proper No. Twelve to Proximo Spirits for $150 million.
The Irishman is ranked above football stars Messi ($130 million) and Ronaldo ($120 million).
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, LA Lakers ace James and Paris Saint-Germain phenom Neymar are ranked fourth, fifth and sixth, respectively.
Tennis royalty Roger Federer, F1 champion Lewis Hamilton, Super Bowl winner Tom Brady and Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant make up the top ten.
