14-time WWE champion Triple H has confirmed that WWE are very much interested in bringing in Conor McGregor.
McGregor is undoubtedly the biggest box-office attraction in sports and made headlines again on Saturday night when he knocked Eddie Alvarez in the second round to become the UFC Lightweight Champion and become the first person in UFC history to hold two belts at two different weights.
McGregor is set for a break following on from his big win but the rumours are already swirling that the fiery Irishman could be set for a WWE switch and the signs are already there.

Triple H was in attendance for UFC 205 to watch McGregor's big win and he tweeted about the Notorious one with a clip of McGregor channelling his inner Vince McMahon.
The executive vice president of talent live events and creative was also asked about McGregor and made it clear that he feels he could fit in nicely with WWE in some capacity.
He also had no problem with Conor's size and stature, with WWE placing a lot of emphasis on smaller guys these days.

Speaking to The Telegraph, he said:
"He could come over, he's got it all, man - he's got the personality, the skills, the talk. He's an entertainer, for sure. What does he walk around at? 180lbs? I have smaller guys now in the WWE. We have 200lb guys who are stars. You don't need to be 300lbs any more.
"He could do just as well as Floyd Mayweather when he fought the Big Show. That really worked. Conor could do it for sure."
WWE have a history of utilising MMA fighters in their storylines and shows; Ronda Rousey was memorably used in a role at Wrestlemania where she and the Rock cleared Triple H and Stephanie McMahon from the ring.
