Wests Tigers playmaker Adam Doueihi was on the end of some verbals from his own supporters while leaving the field in that mammoth loss to the Roosters.
The 72-6 loss at the Sydney Cricket Ground signalled the worst result in Tigers’ club history and it's safe to say their fans weren’t happy.
The Balmain side has had a torrid season and looks likely to finish bottom of the ladder, especially if performances such as the one on the weekend are anything to go off.
It’s fair to say some of their fans are feeling disgruntled, and unfortunately, Doueihi copped it following the game.

Doueihi returned this year off the back of an ACL injury, however, fans weren’t taking it lightly on him, as Fox Sports reports.
The five-eighth was leaving the field when a barrage of insults came his way, allegedly from his own fans.
The Tigers commented on the situation, backing Doueihi against the supporters.
They released a statement to Fox Sports, saying: “Abuse of any kind by spectators towards players or officials in sport is unacceptable whether at the ground or online and should not be tolerated.

“We understand that fans are passionate but there is a line that should not be crossed, and that applies to any sport, any team, any individual regardless of the result of a match.”
It capped off an ugly night for the NRL side who also saw their captain James Tamou sent off in the dying moments of the game.
Tamou was sent straight off by referee Ben Cummins following an incident late into the match.
Roosters player Angus Crichton had lost the ball, however, Cummins had ruled it went backwards.
Tamou was seen barking at Cummins with the umpire blowing his whistle to send him to the sin bin.

The New Zealander then took it one step too far, retaliating: “You are f***ing incompetent you are.”
And unsurprisingly his 10-minute ban was upgraded to a full send-off.
It is incredibly likely that action will be Tamou’s last in the NRL with his contract up at the end of the season.
Doueihi is now poised to take over captaincy duties for the final games of the season after becoming only the last of five co-captains to be still available for the club.

Along with Tamou, the Tigers’ leadership team is missing the likes of Luke Brooks, Ken Maumalo, and Tyrone Peachey for this weekend’s matchup against the Dragons.
Doueihi will be hoping he’ll be feeling more love from his own supporters as he captains the side.
