Brian To'o stares daggers at Jarome Luai as he makes wild best man speech at teammate's wedding

Brian To'o stares daggers at Jarome Luai as he makes wild best man speech at teammate's wedding

The Panthers player will likely regret letting his teammate have that microphone.

Put a microphone in Jarome Luai’s hand and wild things will happen.

Penrith Panthers winger Brian To’o got married to his longtime partner Moesha Chrichton-Roptai on Thursday, and by his side was his best man Jarome Luai.

Panthers stars Stephen Crichton and Sunia Turuva were also groomsmen, but Luai had the honour of giving out a speech in honour of his mate’s marriage.

And wow, is that a decision Bizza probably regrets.

With To’o and his wife sitting at the table, in a lovely white tuxedo and dress, Luai decided to go a bit rogue in reflecting on his friendship with his premiership-winning teammate.

The Penrith five-eighth noted that he had a speech prepared, however, decided not to go with that one as it didn’t feel natural.

He most definitely should’ve stuck with it.

Within the speech, he recounts his time spent with To’o in the UK.

He said: “Got the privilege to spend seven weeks in England rooming with my boy.

“And if youse don’t know Brian To’o, this man has the stinkiest a** I’ve ever been around. Stinkiest, and he’s proud of it.

“My uso loves himself. If his phone gallery gets leaked one day, that’ll be the proof.

“As I said, seven weeks in England. Walked into the room, basically, all I seen was my uso taking selfies, my uso face-timing another girl he met in England — I mean Moesha, face timing Moesha.

“Sometimes I walk in I hear things in the toilet.”

To’o immediately stares daggers at his best man with that common.

Luai quickly backtracks, saying: “Chill, chill, chill. Nah I was joking. I’m about to get a hiding.”

Wouldn’t be surprised by that.

The speech just drags in the most awkward way possible, you can feel Brian and Moesha begging for it to be over.

Fans online weren’t too impressed with the speech either.

One tweeted: “Luai just delivered one of the worst wedding speeches I've ever seen.”

Another said: “You would think by now they would know better than to hand him a microphone, especially on camera.”

A third added: “I’ve just seen the downfall of Jarome Luai and he wasn’t even playing footy.”

Besides the speech, the wedding looked like an incredibly lovely affair with To’o and Moesha both incredibly happy.

Congratulations to the couple, maybe just keep Jarome away from the microphone next time.
