Britain's All-Weather tracks took centre-stage today but National Hunt racing is back with a vengeance on Saturday with top-class action at Chepstow, Sandown and Wincanton leading the way.

Our man Danny Archer had a nice break at the start of the week and responded with a winning NAP yesterday. Here are his thoughts on all the action:

Sandown:

1:20: Theo's Charm 11/2. Nick Gifford's charge was a really decent hurdler at his best and has gone ok over fences thus far. He was well backed at Ascot last time but was brought down at the first fence. He should therefore be fit to do himself justice here and the forecast heavy ground is a massive plus, given his decent form in testing conditions. He looks an excellent each way play.

1:50: Gino Trail 4/1. I'm a huge fan of Kerry Lee's 11-year-old who has notched up two victories in succession. A confidence boosting victory at Wetherby was buffeted with a tenacious win at Cheltenham last time out with the son of Perugino scoring by a length and a quarter. This is another stern test of his credentials but he stays really well and will relish conditions, he has to be fancied.

2:25: Western Ryder 7/4. I'm a big fan of Warren Greatrex's charge who developed into a useful bumper performer last year, highlighted by his excellent fifth in the Cheltenham Champion Bumper and his third in the Aintree equivalent. He has developed into a useful novice hurdler with two convincing success, which included a fine victory over Lalor, who beat the selection in the Aintree bumper. He stays well and that gives the six-year-old son of Westerner leading credentials for this event.

3:35: Sandown: Brillare Momento 10/1 Each Way. Martin Keighley's charge was a cracking novice hurdler and better than the bare result on her handicap debut at Cheltenham last time. She will relish these conditions and a mark of 137 is workable.

Chepstow. The rescheduled Welsh National will take centre stage, won last year by Colin Tizzard's Native River and here are my fancies for a decent card in Wales.

12:30: Chepstow: Jammin Masters 11/4. Warren Greatrex looks to hold a great chance with this seven-year-old son of Sinndar. He made a decent over hurdles for his new trainer last time and that form entitles him to go well in this less than competitive event. He's taken to come out on top.

1:00: Chepstow: Pure Vision. Barry Geraghty rides Anthony Honeyball's seven-year-old son of Milan who showed that he was none the worse for a bad fall at Exeter when scoring a shade cosily at Ffos Las. He was given an excellent ride that day by Aidan Coleman and was value for more than the three-quarter length winning margin. A mark of 129 looks fair with further improvement to come in this event.

1:35: We Have A Dream 5/6. Nicky Henderson's charge is the perfect place to start as he was seriously impressive on his British debut at Warwick last time out. He travelled through that race with real authority and put it to bed within a matter of strides. There is plenty more improvement to come from him and the four-year-old son of Martaline makes plenty of appeal.

2:05: Welsh National: Chase The Spud E/W and Mysteree E/W. Fergal O'Brien's Chase The Spud has been the subject of sustained support throughout the week and this mudlark has to be respected. A game winner of the Midlands National, this extreme stamina test looks sure to play to his strengths. The fact that he can lead and jumps well are two huge attributes and he looks to have a major say in this. A pleasing victor on his return to action at Haydock last time out, the more rain the better for the 10-year-old son of Aflora.

Mysteree has won on his first start of the season for the last three years and his profile is even more attractive given his liking for testing conditions, which will be the case here. Winner of the Eider Chase in February, he was an excellent second to Chase The Spud in the the Midlands National so the form reads very well. With his proven record fresh, he must enter calculations in a cracking renewal of the Welsh National which is very pleasing.

2:45: Eminent Poet 5/1. Up 3lb for his victory last time out but the fact that five of his six career victories have come on heavy ground tells the story. Conditions will be hugely in his favour at the Welsh venue and whilst the race he won at Haydock was not as strong in substance as this event, he stays three miles and has to go well here.

3:55: Good Boy Bobby. Nigel Twiston-Davies' charge won nicely over course and distance in November and whilst it is never easy to follow up under a penalty, this five-year-old son of Flemensfirth looks progressive. He won by a nose that day despite pulling hard and the addition of a hood should be of benefit.

Wincanton

1:40: Cucklington 5/2. Colin Tizzard's charge has been in stellar form this season and whilst only third at Taunton last time out, he was a course and distance winner earlier in the year and I expect him to regain the winning thread.

2:40: Antartica De Thaix 13/8. Paul Nicholls' charge can be a quirky performer but the eight-year-old daughter of Dom Alco has a touch of class about here and her second to the talented Mia's Storm over a longer trip must be respected. Dropping back to two miles and four furlongs is a big benefit and she is sure to go well in this.

Cork

12:20: Wait Here 7/4. Gets weight from the rest of the field and has to be respected following a creditable second at Limerick last time.

2:30: Livelovelaugh 7/4. Third to The Storyteller last time was a fine start over fences and if building on that, he rates as the one to beat.

Lingfield

1:45: General Hazard 2/1. Excellent successes the last twice and if building on those, he has a good chance on ratings.

2:20: Arcanda 13/8. Tom Dascombe's gelding had some smart types in behind last time out and if building on that, he looks to hold outstanding claims of landing this.
