We enjoyed a good day yesterday with the daily double returning a healthy profit at 5/2 and the each-way double also landing. There are five meetings on Tuesday from Goodwood, Kempton (AW), Leicester, Stratford and Naas in Ireland. Here are the ODDSbible Racing tips for today's racing.

NAP

5:20 - Goodwood - Cogital 11/10

Looks to be a straight match-up between Amanda Perrett's charge and Charlie Hills' Autumn War. Cogital gets a 7lb allowance from his main rivals and the the three-year-old son of Invincible Spirit has top-class conditional Jason Watson in the plate who has teamed up on great effect with Perrett in the last few weeks. Perrett is operating at a 29% strike-rate, Watson 24% and Cogital was a creditable fourth in handicap company last time out. This looks a gilt-edged opportunity to get his head in front.

Next Best

4:10 - Goodwood - Austrian School 6/4

Runs in the big race of the day and stable companion Soldier In Action, a course and distance winner, could give him most to think about. Austrian School, a three-year-old son of Teofilo steps up to two miles for the first time and finished second to Timoshenko, registering a five timer, at Musselburgh last time out. Austrian School gave the impressive that day that he could stay this trip and if getting an easy lead in front, he could be of interest. The tactical battle between him and his stable companion could well determine the outcome of the handicap event.

Daily Double

2:15 - Stratford - Henry Smith 1/2

Carries a penalty for Bangor win in August but this looks a match between Dr Richard Newland's charge and David Bridgwater's Accord on paper. Just a 1lb separates the pair on official ratings, but Accord remains a maiden over hurdles despite having previously scored over fences. Whilst it's interesting that connections revert back to timber, Newland's string are operating at a 25% strike-rate in the last 14 days and with more improvement likely, he can shoulder a penalty here.

6:05 - Naas - Centroid 4/7

Half-brother to Investec Oaks, King George and Arc winner Enable who made a striking impression when scoring at Leopardstown on debut. Despite greenness the three-year-old son of Dansili quickened up smartly to score by two lengths and with more improvement expected under the watchful eye of master handler Dermot Weld, he makes plenty of appeal as he steps up to 12 furlongs.

Each Way Double

5:55 - Leicester - Biotic 6/1

In great form this year and has Spencer in the saddle who should suit this hold-up horse. Rod Millman's charge is a course and distance winner and whilst he continues to go up in the ratings, now off 78, that may underestimate him in this open-looking event and he makes each-way appeal.

7:25 - Leicester - Psychotic 9/2

Won impressively at Kempton last year but hasn't really gone on from that. He showed signed of a revival last time out on his second start over 12 furlongs, although the winner let down the form when failing to justify odds on favouritism five days late. The gelded son of Nayef certainly has the scope for more improvement and it is interesting that connections continue to persevere.
