The William Hill Racing League continues on Thursday evening with round five of the inaugural competition taking centre-stage. The action returns to Lingfield Park and the All-Weather. Here at Team ODDSbible, we're hungry for more success and have fou runners as we look to improve on our current sixth place standing with 199 points. Read on for a lookout at our four horses running on Thursday evening.

5.40pm Racing League R26 (6f)

Additional represents Martyn Meade and has run a number of good races in defeat this term. He found things too tough when well-beaten in a competitive handicap at Newmarket in July, but was not disgraced at Salisbury on his latest start when fourth. Interestingly, his one career success came at Lingfield and he has to be high on the shortlist given that he remains unexposed. Marks Bear, a winner last time out, Natural Path and Isabella Swan are others to note.

6.40pm Racing League R28 (7f)

Team ODDSbible are represented by the Martyn Meade-trained Hover who scored at Goodwood last season, but was disappointing on his first two starts since a gelding operation at Lingfield and Brighton. However, there were definite signs of ability when he finished fifth at Lingfield on the third week of Racing League. He was caught in an uncompromising position and stayed on to good effect to finish fifth. He could be an each-way player.

7.10m Racing League R29 (1m 2f)

Things failed to go to plan for Glentaneous when seventh at Lingfield during the third week of Racing League for Martin Dwyer and Brian Meehan. The three-year-old son of Gleneagles was caught too far back on that occasion and could never land a blow, finishing seventh. He needs to be ridden closer to the pace in this event, but is certainly not without a chance if connections decide to use a change of tactics. Glentaneous already boasts winning form at Lingfield on the All-Weather and therefore has to be an each-way hope here.

7.40pm Racing League R30 (1m 4f)

The best chance of the night for Team ODDSbible comes in the finale with Corbulo. The three-year-old has been a revelation since a gelding operation, winning four of his last six starts. He oozed class when scoring at Doncaster on the second night of Racing League under Martin Dwyer and the three-year-old son of Belardo is progressing with every run. Now rated 81, he has to defy a 5lb rise in the weights for that win, bur he looks a leading player if he shows a liking for the All-Weather in the finale.
