Enter Sunday's LADbible Poker tournament where you can win a share of a £10,000 prize pool with numerous ways to walk away with cash.

Kick-off is at 7pm, it's just £5.50 to enter (with the password LADPOKER) and play is like Adama Traore: fast-paced. Last Sunday's winner earned a cool £1,606 while 380 other players won money - plus playing poker puts you in the company of some elite football players.

Yes, it's true: the competitive streak and decision-making skills that make for a top footballer can translate directly into being ace at cards. These five footballers have won big on the pitch and the poker table.

Gerard Pique

As if playing for Barcelona and winning every club/international trophy going wasn't enough, Pique is also involved in the European Poker Tour. In 2019, he pocketed a whopping $391,772 just for finishing second in a tournament (his then teammate Arturo Vidal also made the final table). Overall, Pique's career winnings are $668,155 - not bad considering he's also holding down a job as one of the world's best defenders.

Ronaldo

Brazil's two-time Ballon d'Or winner loves poker more than big golden balls now, as back in 2015 he skipped watching the Ballon d'Or ceremony to play in a poker tournament in the Bahamas. It paid off big time, as Original Ronaldo ended up cashing around $42,000 (finishing in the top 4% of an elite field), while his namesake Cristiano picked up the Ballon d'Or. A great day for the Ronaldo family.

Teddy Sheringham

Ex-Manchester United and Tottenham striker was always famed for his quick-thinking rather than his fast feet - and he's carried that skill to the poker scene since his retirement. A genuine poker pro, Teddy has career winnings of more than $300,000. In 2016, he finished 14th in the World Series of Poker Main Event, earning $60,000. Let's assume his favourite hand is a treble (of aces).

Neymar

The 28-year-old £200 million PSG star hasn't had time to rack up huge earnings (it's a mere €18,000, which is less than he earns in a day) - but he did finish sixth at 2018 Brazilian Series of Poker. Yet Neymar is a keen online player! In 2018 he engaged in high-stakes poker as he recovered from foot surgery under the cunning username of 'neymar-jr'. He ended up finishing 474th out of over 5,000 entries and won $559. Put it on the pile.

Tony Cascarino

Republic of Ireland star was never the most skilful striker, but Big Cas is basically the Messi of top footballers-turned-poker players. He's won more than half a million dollars on the poker scene. His most epic victory came in the 2009 Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Grand Final, when he finished first and claimed the £168,800 (or $200,000) top prize. Watch those use of the elbows at the table, big man.

Now it's your turn to join these five footballers in the winners circle by getting involved with the LADbible Poker Tournament tonight. With that £5.50 entry fee you don't need to be on Premier League money to take part - and you can re-enter up to twice.

Bonuses include a £50 bounty on the head of ODDSbible, paid directly to whoever knocks them out of the tournament.
