Daniel Cormier and Jake Paul ended up face-to-face just five days after the UFC legend said he would 'kill' the former YouTuber in a fight.
UFC 261 was the first event for the company in over a year to have a capacity crowd, with 15,000 fans crammed into the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, Jacksonville, Florida.
Whilst Tom Brady's appearance in the arena went down pretty well, coming just months after winning the SuperBowl for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the appearance of Paul didn't go down as hotly.

The controversial YouTuber turned boxer was greeted with chants of 'f*ck Jake Paul' when he entered the arena, which could be heard over the Randy Brown vs Alex Oliveira fight.
One man in particular who was looking forward to seeing the 3-0 boxer was former two weight UFC champ Cormier.
Following his win over Askren last weekend, Paul had called out DC, with the retired heavyweight claiming he'd 'kill' the 24-year-old in a fight.

DC was in attendance as a commentator but, taking a break from his tv duties, ended up face-to-face with his new foe and had to be taken away by security before things got interesting.
The crowd in the arena were definitely on the side of Cormier as once the main event action got underway they continued their chanting.

The card started with Anthony Smith vs Jimmy Crute, in Cormier's previous light heavyweight division, and the fans continued to chant 'f*ck Jake Paul.'
Askren was criticised last week for going down easily last weekend, but it would be a whole different thing if Paul got in the ring with Cormier.
Wouldn't it be fun to watch!
