Lots of things changed for UFC's event on Saturday night but thankfully Joe Rogan's post fight interviews remained the same, and it was down to Rogan 'throwing a fit.'
UFC 249 was quite strange, for one it was actual live sport back on our screen for the first time in about two months, and the event was different to how UFC normally puts on shows.
The three commentators on the night were split up across different sides of the octagon but Rogan was still allowed inside to get up close and interview the winners after their fights, something that was down to his complaints.

"At least they let me do the post-fight interviews in the Octagon," Rogan said on air in the post show analysis.
"You threw a fit," his co-commentator and former UFC heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier replied. "You threw a fit before the show. This is insane, everyone's been tested, we're all clean!"
They were going to make me do them from like two yards away," Rogan added, "We're all clean. Everyone's been tested, but they were going to make me do interviews from 50 feet away. I'm like, 'I can't, I want to see them, look into their eyes."
However without any crowd in attendance the proximity of the commentators had a very different impact on proceedings, with fighters able to hear the trio calling the action.

And it was the presence of Cormier that had the biggest effect with two of the winners on the night claiming that DC's tips to them could be heard and changed everything.
Carla Esparza credited the former heavyweight champion for telling her to mix it up against Michelle Waterson and James Hardy referenced the commentator for his tips after his win over Yorgan De Castro to Rogan.
Rogan also pointed the ridiculous nature of the broadcast in the fact that the trio had to be separated on air for commentary but the beginning of the pay-per-view broadcast saw them standing together to present the start of the show.
Cormier could soon be out of his commentary seat and back in action. The 41-year-old wants his trilogy fight, and title rematch, with Stipe Miocic but suggested that he will move on if the champ doesn't want to face him again.

That could mean Miocic vacating the title and DC taking on Francis Ngannou, who beat Jairzinho Rozenstruik on Saturday, with the title on the line.
