Jorge Masvidal's Latest Comments Have Disappointed Fans Who Want To See Him Face Conor McGregor

Jorge Masvidal has admitted he thinks Conor McGregor doesn't want to fight him in the near future.

McGregor returned to the UFC on Saturday night and defeated Donald Cerrone comfortably, with many believing the Irishman would turn his attention to 'Gamebred' for a fight later this year.

However, the current BMF champion has claimed he doesn't think the 'Notorious' wants the fight with him.

Speaking on Ariel Helwani's MMA Show, the 35-year-old admitted:

"All I know is that he doesn't want the fight. We're moving on. ... He sealed [Kamaru] Usman's fate now. This guy doesn't want to f**king fight, man."

He also explained that he won't be waiting long if McGregor does want a fight as he's 'got s**t to do'.

The claims likely refer to Welterweight Champion Usman who Masvidal seems to be on a collision course with.

"So, Conor, if you want to do it, let's do it, bro. If you not, I've got s**t to do, man."

His comments will disappoint many fight fans who were speculating McGregor and Masvidal would square off during the Irishman's comeback.

Despite this, Masvidal has said he would welcome a fight with McGregor for the right price and that he'd 'baptise' his opponent.

"If that contract gets in front of my face and the numbers add up to what I'm asking for, yeah. Then Conor is getting baptised on TV, man. Easy math. Simple."

He also unloaded on the former 'Champ-Champ' for claiming he designed the BMF belt - only to then call it ugly in a future comment.

"Conor is a f**kboy, man. He said he designed the [BMF] belt and then he said that the belt is ugly. Then you designed an ugly belt, motherf**ker."

UFC legend Michael Bisping made an appearance earlier in Monday's show and thinks McGregor's next fight could be his trilogy bout with Nate Diaz.

"I guarantee [McGregor] will fight Nate Diaz next.

"Masvidal and Usman are probably going to fight each other.

"Khabib is going to fight Tony [Ferguson] in April, then it's Ramadan and if he beats Tony he's not going to fight anytime soon."

"Conor already teased Diaz so it's good business for everybody involved, the fans want to see it everyone makes money."
