Jon Jones Names His MMA Mount Rushmore, Also Picks His GOAT Fighter

Jon Jones named fellow UFC legend Anderson Silva the GOAT fighter as he selected his Mount Rushmore for MMA.

The 33-year-old UFC light heavyweight champ is widely considered by many fans and as one of the best MMA fighters of all time.

Speaking ahead of UFC 239 in 2019, YouTuber The Schmo asked Jones who would be his personal pick for the MMA GOAT status.

'Bones' said: "The GOAT to me would be Anderson Silva, but I am honoured that a lot of people consider me in that same conversation."

Jones went on to reveal his MMA Mount Rushmore and included himself alongside Silva.

And the UFC legend named his final two picks as Fedor Emelianenko and Demetrious Johnson.

Jones told The Schmo: "Myself, Anderson Silva, Fedor Emelianenko and Demetrious Johnson."

The UFC legend has previously revealed that Fedor, Johnson and Silva are amongst his five best fighters of all time.

Jones told reporters at UFC 239: "Top fighters of all time? My favourites are Anderson Silva -- [he's] always going to be up there with me.

"Even though Georges St-Pierre went out a little bit of a hater -- I feel about his comments -- he'll always be one of my favourites. He was one of my initial idols. I loved the way he carried himself.

"And let's see. Who else? I mean, I'll have to say Jose Aldo. I'm gonna say Jose Aldo.

"Demetrious Johnson, he's good, he's good, he's cool and all. But for me personally, I loved Jose Aldo's style.

The future UFC Hall of Famer added: "Yeah, and it always changes. I get asked that question a lot.

"Sometimes I'll throw Demetrious in there or Fedor in there, but today I'm feeling Jose Aldo."

UFC president Dana White believes "there's no debate" over Jones' status as the GOAT of MMA.
