Jones was arrested in Las Vegas following his UFC Hall of Fame induction.
He is facing charges of alleged domestic violence and tampering with a vehicle.
His arrest was just the latest in a long line of legal woes he's faced outside of the Octagon over the past few years.
UFC president Dana White revealed his frustrations with the 34-year-old, but conceded: "It's not even shocking anymore."

Well, UFC middleweight champion Adesanya has now weighed in - and he's ruthlessly mocked the former UFC light-heavyweight title holder.
On Twitter, he wrote: "I'm sure y'all will give him 'one more chance' lol. I swear I said he's gonna f**k up again, he can't help it.
"Now here we are. I've made mistakes in my time, I learn from them.
"I don't think this is the first time this has happened in his house. But yea...posi vibez goiz."
Jon Jones posted an Instagram story of him doing a bench press this evening. On the story were several phrases, including: "I have way too much trauma to consume alcohol, my brain simply can't handle it anymore. I will leave alcohol in my past forever." pic.twitter.com/lnvxWjls3U- Marc Raimondi (@marc_raimondi) September 29, 2021
Jones broke his social media silence by posting an image of himself bench pressing, accompanied with several captions - one of them saying he intends to stop drinking alcohol.
On Instagram, he wrote: "I have too much trauma to consume alcohol, my brain simply can't handle it anymore.
"I will leave alcohol in my past forever."
Jones hasn't fought since beating Dominick Reyes at UFC 247 back in February 2020.
He has since vacated his UFC light-heavyweight title and plans to make his heavyweight debut next year.
As for Adesanya, he's set to defend his UFC middleweight crown against former foe Robert Whittaker at UFC 270.
