Jorge Masvidal has absolutely ripped into Conor McGregor in response to his tweet slamming his withdraw from UFC 269.

McGregor savagely took aim at Masvidal for pulling out of his highly-anticipated welterweight showdown against Leon Edwards.

The Irishman branded him a 'b***h' for bowing out and said he should be stripped of the BMF title in a now deleted post on social media.

'Gamebred' has pulled no punches in response to McGregor's damning tweet, calling him a 'midget' while making a ruthless cocaine claim.

Speaking to Ariel Helwani via Middle Easy, he said: "I think he's a bitter old man, just staring at the TV all day. It sucks for him that he's broken.

"He's gotten broken so many times that he can't put himself back together, as far as fighting goes. Go have a regular life bro, be a celebrity.

"This guy is going to end up snorting himself to death or something. I'm not worried about him, I'm just trying to get big checks and fight. You go to rehab motherf**ker, and treat older people the right way. If not, when they sign us to fight, I'll teach you some respect.

"He's mad because (Leon) is signed to whatever the fuck his company is called, and they were going to collect the biggest paycheck they were ever going to collect off my ass beating Leon's ass. It's not going to happen anymore, so you can see the bitterness getting exposed, but he just picked the wrong dude.

"He could still get this paycheck, but this corny ass midget doesn't want to f**king tell his guy 'Yo, just wait up, and f**king fight him later and we'll still get this paycheck.'

"It might even be bigger because there's more push behind it, but he's a corny midget f**k, so whatever."

Masvidal has been linked with a clash against McGregor, but nothing official has materialised in the UFC.

The veteran welterweight is eyeing his next fight, with the likes of Edwards and Colby Covington on his radar.

McGregor, on the other hand, is on the mend following his leg break against Dustin Poirier.

He's called out a host of his rivals and has also been on the receiving end of call outs, with Michael Chandler and Jake Paul wanting a piece of the UFC superstar.
