Darren Till wished UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya a Merry Christmas in typical fashion.
Till has made no secrets about his desire to face Adesanya and the Liverpool fighter sent him a festive message on Christmas day.

"Merry Xmas brother x. Just give me the belt and we will be ok," he wrote in a DM to Adesanya who responded by writing back: "Hahahaha."
Adesanya then screenshotted Till's message and shared it on social media, accompanied with the caption: "Someone cut him off the eggnog too much."
Adesanya has enjoyed a remarkable 2019. He went 3-0 in the UFC which included becoming undisputed middleweight champion after thrashing Robert Whittaker in October.
Till, meanwhile, returned to the win column following back-to-back defeats by outpointing Kelvin Gastelum on his middleweight debut at UFC 244.
And he's full of praise for Adesanya and wants a potential showdown to take place at Anfield.

"I just think if we were to break Israel down, I think he's got the whole package," Till told SPORTbible. "I think he's got the swagger, knows how to talk, he's an intelligent guy, he's a good-looking guy, he's smart - brilliant fighter, he's a showman. What more do you want from a guy like that?!
"That would be the dream fight - me vs. Israel. I think that would sellout a stadium and obviously look what it would bring to Liverpool. It would just be such a legacy changing fight. I think it'd unbelievable."
