A furious Conor McGregor went back to his trash-talking self and produced an unforgettable post-fight interview after he suffered a first-round defeat to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264.
It was an unfortunate ending to a highly-anticipated bout in Las Vegas. Just seconds before the end of Round 1, the Irish fighter sustained a nasty broken leg when he stepped backwards and rolled his ankle.
A doctor's stoppage was declared at 5:00 and a visibly frustrated McGregor vented his fury in a chat with commentator and podcast legend Joe Rogan after the bout. You can watch the full interview below.
In the post-interview, McGregor says "this is not over" before mentioning Poirier's wife being in his DM's.

He begins, saying: "I was boxing the bleeding head off him, kicking the bleeding leg off... this is not over. If I have to take this outside for him, it's all outside, I don't give a bollocks."
McGregor then brings Poirier's wife, Jolie, into the conversation. "Your wife is in my DMs, hey baby, hit me back up I'll chat to you later on, I'll be at the after-party; The Wynn night club."
He then compared his injury to that of Anderson Silva, who infamously broke his leg against Chris Weidman in 2013.

As the camera panned to his leg, McGregor said: "I bleedin' landed on the wonky leg like Anderson Silva that one time, something similar to that. It's a mad business."
Poirier, meanwhile, said his opponent "got what he had coming to him" in his post-fight comments, before saying: "Karma is a mirror."
After the fight, UFC president Dana White provided an injury update on the injured Irishman.

"It looked like the ankle to me, but I'm no doctor. Once they get in there and do the X-rays on him and look at it, they'll know exactly what's wrong."
