Khabib Nurmagomedov has responded to rumours that Georges St-Pierre will announce his retirement from MMA on Thursday morning at a press conference in Montreal.
GSP hoped to secure a 'super-fight' with Nurmagomedov but when that didn't materialise, he decided it was time to walk away from the sport, according to ESPN journalist Ariel Helwani.

But in a recent revelation the Russian fighter looks to play down those rumours, suggesting the pair should fight in November.
"Let's do it in November," Khabib said on his official Instagram account.
"After this fight you can retire. I grow up on your fights, and have nothing but respect for you, and I believe showed that to you George when you were in Moscow.

"But, it would be honor for me to share Octagon with one of the greatest fighters of all time. Let's do it 155 lbs, or I give away 5lbs to you, cause you newer done 155.
"Well, it's your choice 155 or 160, Montreal, NYC, Moscow or Abu Dhabi. Send me location my friend."
It might be too late for Khabib.

St-Pierre appeared to suggest he is on the verge of retirement following his post on social media on Tuesday, where he posed with black belt Firas Zahabi for the below picture.
"After all these years, we remain undefeated together.
OSU Senseï" he said.
But could the 37-year-old be tempted into a super-fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov?
I certainly hope so!
