Conor McGregor's been very quiet recently, a little too quiet. But the Irishman did pop up on social media for a short while after UFC 251, before deleting his tweet.
The former two weight UFC champion retired recently, for the third time in recent years, but it's unlike him to stay out of the limelight for too long.
After big UFC events, especially ones that centre around his weight, McGregor has a knack of making things about him but, after Jorge Masvidal's loss to Kamaru Usman at UFC 251 on Saturday night, the Notorious remained quiet.

However on Sunday night he randomly 'attacked' former opponent Nate Diaz, replying to a tweet about Max Holloway and Rose Namajunas by telling him to 'shut' his 'b*tch*ss up,' before quickly deleting the tweet.
McGregor and Diaz fought each other twice in 2016 in two instant classic UFC fights, winning one each, and their rivalry has often swung from insults to respect and back again.
The Stockton native then took a three year break before returning to action last year when he beat Anthony Pettis at UFC 241.

That win led to his fight with Masvidal at the end of last year and the invention of the BMF title. Gamebred won that fight when the doctor called it off at the end of the third round.
Masvidal said he was happy to 'run it back' in a rematch but so far that has yet to materialise.
Usman's victory on Fight Island means he is likely to next defend the welterweight title against Gilbert Burns, who he was initially meant to face at the weekend, leaving Masvidal looking for his next opponent.

His higher profile, earned over the past year, means the 35-year-old is likely to land a massive fight next and that could either be a rematch with Diaz or a highly anticipated fight with McGregor, should he decide to come out of retirement again.
Whoever comes out victorious in whatever fight takes place would likely earn themselves a crack at the title, something Masvidal would certainly deserve with more than six day's notice.
It still feels like at some point we're due an explosive response to something from McGregor, who hasn't even liked any tweets mocking his rivals recently.

If nothing comes from him on social media then maybe he'll actually stay retired...surely not?
