Jorge Masvidal Responds Brilliantly To Nick Diaz Wanting To Fight Him

Jorge Masvidal has used the perfect Scarface quote to respond to Nick Diaz's callout, after Nate's brother tried to continue the rivalry with the new BMF champion.

The elder Diaz appeared on Ariel Helwani's show on Monday and called out his brother's recent opponent saying, "I'll fight anybody. This guy [Masvidal] can do anything he wants to do right now to make the most money possible."

Masvidal's manager, First Round Management CEO Malki Kawa, hinted at a response on social media and it came just hours later in the perfect Scarface quote, with an animated BMF champ, dressed as Tony Montana, saying 'F*ck the Diaz brothers, f*ck 'em all! I bury those cockroaches!'

The older Diaz hasn't fought for nearly five years, when his loss to Anderson Silva was overturned to a no contest after both men failed drugs tests, and turned 36 back in August.

But 'Gambred's' quote about wanting to 'baptise' Nate didn't sit well with Nick, with Diaz telling Helwani, "You want to talk about baptising my younger brother?

"That's on you. Like, you don't talk about baptising my younger brother, so you're already in a f****d position if you fight with me.

"You don't f*****g talk about baptising someone's younger brother."

ESPN reported that the former welterweight title contender's manager Kevin Mubenga has said that his client will return to the octagon in early 2020.

UFC reportedly tried to set up Masvidal vs Nick Diaz early in 2019 but the talks never went anywhere and the 'baddest mother f*cker' in the UFC went on to have an incredible year.

The 35-year-old beat Darren Till and Ben Askren in brilliant stoppages before facing Nate Diaz at UFC 244.

After his impressive win 'Gamebred' did offer the younger brother a rematch but Dana White said he had 'no interest' in running the fight back right away.

Instead the Florida native could be looking at the chance to fight the winner of Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington at UFC 245 for the welterweight title.
