Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier have continued their rivalry, with the former heavyweight champion claiming Jones can't be UFC's greatest ever and Jones not taking too well to that summary.
Throughout their careers, and after, Jones and Cormier have been going at it in verbal sparring, as well as twice meeting in the octagon, and it's not likely to end any time soon.
Speaking to MMA Fighting on Monday, DC, who retired in August after losing a rematch against Stipe Miocic at UFC 252, explained why Jones couldn't be considered UFC's greatest ever, saying, "One of the most talented guys you'll ever meet but again for me bad [drug] tests eliminate you from the conversation.

"I just cannot understand how that is so hard to comprehend in a sport where we're fighting each other. In baseball, bad tests eliminate you from being considered and being in the Hall of Fame and you're hitting a ball. You're hitting an object that has no feeling. In fighting, you're punching people, human beings, and you have bad tests that eliminates you. It's just too dangerous.
"So I think when you start to think about the greatest of all time for all the things and all the great victories, you can't look at those, me personally being a guy that those fights did really long term damage to my career, it's hard for me to say [Jon Jones] is the greatest of all time when every time we fought, there was some sort of issue. That for me, it just kind of changes the conversation."
Clearly that hit a nerve for former light heavyweight champion Jones, who gave up the title earlier this year and wants to move up to heavyweight.
Bones, who twice beat Cormier, although one result was overturned for a failed drugs test, took to Twitter with a bit of a tirade to question his rivals opinion, claiming the fact the 41-year-old retired after his loss to Miocic lessened the validity of his opinion and refuting the failed drugs tests.
Cormier beat Miocic for the heavyweight title in July 2018 and was successful in defending it against Derrick Lewis later that year.

He gave Miocic the chance to win the title back in August 2019, with the former champ winning the title back with a fourth round stoppage.
DC only wanted a deciding fight with Miocic as his final fight and was always ready to walk away no matter the result. He lost a unanimous decision to his fellow American and then called it a day.
Jones, who wasn't happy with Khabib Nurmagomedov replacing him as the pound-for-pound number one recently, now wants to fight Miocic for the belt.
