Former UFC champion Michael Bisping has gone on the attack at former rival Dan Henderson, after the American criticised the British fighter on Saturday night.

Bisping made his UFC pay-per-view debut on commentary on Saturday, during the first Fight Island show, UFC 251, with Joe Rogan and Daniel Cormier both absent from the show.

During the show Henderson, who fought the Brit twice during his career, tweeted criticising the commentary, on the anniversary of UFC 100, where Henderson got the win in their first fight.

The former middleweight champion, who got revenge on his rival at UFC 204 in 2016 in his only successful title defence, was quick to hit back on Twitter on Saturday.

However the 41-year-old, who retired in 2017 after losing to Kevin Gastelum, didn't leave it there and went on a foul mouthed rant about Henderson.

Speaking on his podcast 'Believe You Me,' the Count swore and impressive 18 times in 34 seconds.

The Mancunian fighter was joined on commentary on Wednesday night, on UFC Fight Night, by welterweight Paul Felder, who wasn't on the previous show on Saturday.

It wasn't just commentary that Felder was in Abu Dhabi for though, as the 'Irish Dragon' took a break from broadcasting to help in one fighter's corner.

Jared Gordon lost his usual team when they tested positive for Covid-19 so his former teammate agreed to take a break from his commentary duties to help out.

Bisping is likely to keep his role on pay-per-views for the next big show in August too. That's because Cormier will be a little busy in the octagon.

The former heavyweight champion will be taking on the man he beat for the title, and who he lost it to, Stipe Miocic, in the UFC 252 main-event.

For many the winner will be considered the best heavyweight ever, Henderson might want to watch it on mute...
