Jake Paul has sent Dustin Poirier his $100,000 'Sleepy McGregor' necklace, after the UFC star beat Paul's 'rival' Conor McGregor on Saturday.

Paul has clearly decided that the enemy of his enemy is his friend, after Poirier's second win in-a-row over McGregor, at UFC 264.

Ahead of the fight the YouTuber, who has been constantly calling out the Irishman for months, revealed his shiny new necklace on social media.

It depicted the pose that McGregor took after being knocked out in his second fight with the Diamond back in January.

Now Poirier will be able to wear it, with the 3-0 boxer sending it on to the 32-year-old with a message.

"Dear Dustin, congrats on your much earned victory," Paul wrote.

"I love what you're doing with your Good Fight Foundation! You deserve this chain more than me! Good always defeats evil! Keep winning! Love Paul.

"P.S Tell Jolie I said Hi - She's a badass!"

In typical fashion Paul has hit on two things that McGregor and Poirier have clashed over, other than the Diamond's two recent wins in their trilogy.

The pair got on around their second fight, in January, and the Irishman even said he would donate $500,000 to his opponent's charity.

However things turned nasty ahead of the third fight when it turned out that the former two weight UFC champion hadn't sent the money and then questioned where the money was actually going to.

Paul, who really wants to get McGregor in a boxing ring, also mentioned Poirier's wife after she flipped the bird at McGregor last Saturday.

The Irishman threatened to kill his opponent and his wife in their sleep, as he sat on the floor of the octagon following his loss in Las Vegas.

It remains to be seen if any of Paul's tactics will eventually work to get his fight with McGregor, the UFC star, who has only one professional boxing fight in his career, has mainly ignored the YouTuber so far.
