Confirmed line-ups Manchester United vs Tottenham (Premier League): Fred continues as Ronaldo DROPPED

The line-ups as Manchester United take on Tottenham in the Premier League have been confirmed.

The line-ups for Manchester United against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League have been confirmed.

Erik ten Hag’s men have been on mixed form recently, with Manchester United drawing 0-0 against Newcastle United at Old Trafford on Sunday.

The last time these two sides met, it was Cristiano Ronaldo who settled the difference between the two clubs, scoring a wonderful hat-trick at Old Trafford to defeat Tottenham 3-2.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of the game, Spurs manager Antonio Conte said: “We lost to him (Ronaldo), not United last season.”

Last season he scored a hat-trick against us. We’re talking about an incredible player, a top player.

“We’re talking about a player who continues to make a difference for the team in which he plays,” Conte said.

“I have a lot of admiration for Cristiano, for his professionalism, but I hope he will remain calm, not like last season, when he scored three goals.

“We lost 3-2, but we lost to him, not to United last season. I remember that very well, because we played a very good game.”

Ahead of the fixture, Erik ten Hag commented on Conte: "He's a fabulous manager. He's winning titles, trophies in the Premier League, in Italy, and you can really see his signature in the match from his team and that's a big compliment I think.

“(His teams are) really well organised, in and out of possession, in an intense way.”
