Logan Paul drops bombshell update on WWE contract, it's up sooner than expected

The internet sensation is set to take on Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 39, and it may be his very last match with the company.

Logan Paul’s contract with WWE is up sooner than expected.

The internet sensation is set to take on Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 39, and it may be his very last match with the company.

At least, it will be under his current contract.

The Maverick was hosting an episode of his Impaulsive podcast where he spoke to undefeated boxer Ryan Garcia.

The lightweight complimented Paul on his transition into the WWE, saying: “You look like you’re the most in your element [that] I’ve ever seen.”

Paul replied: “I wanna lean into it. My contract ends this WrestleMania.

“My rookie year is about to be up… A good rookie year.”

It comes as a surprise as Logan and WWE had reportedly announced a ‘multi-year deal to compete at multiple events per year’ back in July 2022, according to Ariel Helwani.

However, with the way he talks about his passion for the business and the trajectory he’s had, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he continues at the company.

Logan didn’t make clear whether he was already in talks with the WWE to extend his contract past WrestleMania, so we’ll have to see what the future holds.

There’s no doubt that he’s not only impressed the WWE but countless of fans with his performances over the past year.

He made his in-ring debut last year when he teamed with The Miz at WrestleMania 38 against Rey and Dominik Mysterio.

He then faced his former-partner The Miz at SummerSlam in another winning effort that saw him seriously impress with a frog splash through his opponent and through the announce table.

After that he had the opportunity to challenge for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship when he went up against Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel.

It was a losing effort on that occasion, but again he impressed.

He had to take a bit of a hiatus after injuring his knee during the matchup, but then returned at the Royal Rumble where he eliminated his Mania opponent Seth Rollins and made it to the final three.

His rivalry with Rollins has really allowed him to come into his own as a character on WWE television - cocky and arrogant but deservedly so.

It feels like Logan is just getting started in the WWE so it would be a shock if his match at the Grandest Stage of Them All were to be his last.
