Logan Paul has joked it's 'crossed his mind' to bring brother Jake into the WWE as backup in his feud with Roman Reigns.
Paul is set to face Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in the main event of Crown Jewel on November 5.
Reigns has been champion for over 790 days, assembling The Bloodline along the way. Included in Reigns' stable are his real-life cousins, Jimmy, Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa, as well as 'Honorary Uce' Sami Zayn and manager Paul Heyman.
It's a big crew Paul will be coming face-to-face with this weekend. He's got friends in high places as well, though.
His younger brother Jake is 6-0 in professional boxing after coming out on top against UFC legend Anderson Silva on Saturday night.
'The Problem Child' appeared on the pre-show of WrestleMania 38 to support his brother, proving he would be a perfect fit for the wrestling business.
Speaking to SPORTbible, Logan admitted he's considered drafting in some help against Reigns, but the schedules have never lined up.
He admitted: "I'm taking on the Tribal Chief, who has like five dudes by his side and I'm stood there as the new guy telling them to bring it on. Yes, it's absolutely crossed my mind that I'm here by myself. It's not like I don't have backup. I have my badass boxer brother with the right hand of God. I have KSI, the same thing. I have the boys from my Impaulsive podcast, although I wouldn't deem them a threat!
"The issue is all these people are busy. Jake has his boxing career, KSI has his own journey. Sami, Solo, The Usos, they're full-time WWE superstars. It's their job to protect and ride with Roman. I gotta pay my people to show up and have my back. But we'll see."
Paul made his first appearance in WWE back in April 2021 as a guest on Zayn's documentary. The 27-year-old would form a temporary alliance with Zayn, but quickly realised he was using him for his own gain.
Zayn would go on to lose at WrestleMania 37 to Kevin Owens, with Paul watching on at ringside.
He's the ultimate utility player, something Paul believes needs to be respected. He even admitted the former NXT Champion helped him settle in during his first run with the company.
Paul continued: "I love Sami. I think he's incredible to be honest, I find him wildly entertaining. Every time I'm with Sami I just try to listen, like, what is gonna come out of this guy's mouth?
"I love it and it's cool because it's come full circle. You know, he held my hand and walked me into the WWE and now he's kind of the enemy. I love Sami Zayn, but I might have to kick his ass if he steps up."
The following year, Paul was back in WWE, this time teaming with The Miz against Rey and Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania 38.
Paul and The Miz ended up winning but post-match, Paul was attacked by The Miz. It set up Paul's first singles match against the future WWE Hall of Famer at SummerSlam in July. It was an absolute barnburner.
The match received rave reviews, with many calling it one of the greatest singles debuts in modern history.
Despite the athletic background and boxing experience, Paul believes professional wrestling offers the hardest hurdles.
When asked about the differences when it comes to training for each respective sport, 'The Maverick' added: "It's a great question. I find pro wrestling incredibly hard. Much harder than boxing, I don't think WWE superstars get the credit they deserve. And as I continue my career, I'm going to make a point of saying how hard it is.
"I liken it to this. When I'm boxing, I'm worried about one person. The guy standing across the ring from me. When I'm pro wrestling, I'm worried about 60,000 people right? It's my job to make sure these people are having a good time and are entertained and that they're being brought along on the story we're trying to tell. That is incredibly stressful.
"That's a lot of people especially when you're brand new. I'm so new to this but it's so fun. The physicality. The performance. The showmanship. It's all things I like, but I have no time to master it. November 5th, Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, I take on Roman Reigns for the title in my third match. I gotta get good fast!"
There's one man Paul wants to defend his title against if he manages to shock the world in Riyadh over the weekend. Reigns' cousin and Hollywood megastar, The Rock.
"Dwayne 'The Rock Johnson' baby," Paul replies in an instant before the interview ends. "It has to be because we have so much history. We go way back and he's larger than life man. I like taking on those types of personalities. So it has to be Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson at WrestleMania."
WWE Crown Jewel from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday, November 5th. Live on Peacock in the US and WWE Network everywhere else.
