The Raw after WrestleMania has been rated one of the worst of all time following reports that Vince McMahon is back in charge.
The Raw the night after the big event is usually one of the best each year, often coming with surprises, superstar returns, and entertaining developments.
However, this edition of WWE’s flagship show simply didn’t live up to any expectations.

It came clouded with a sense of uncertainty after the Endeavor deal to acquire WWE and merge it with UFC was announced.
The news came with the announcement that Vince McMahon would serve as Executive Chairman of the new company and had admitted that he would have some involvement in the creative direction.
The show opened with Triple H coming out with a defiant message of reassurance for fans that WWE ‘isn’t going anywhere’.

The former WWE champion had taken over creative control in the wake of McMahon leaving the company last year.
Fans were unsure whether the 77-year-old would be as involved in the creative side of the business upon his return, however, many came to the conclusion that he may very well be back in charge.
As Raw played out, fans became unhappy with the show, criticising the lack of female performers in much of the taping, and the lack of a general direction, on top of barely any surprises.
The Raw has since become the worst-rated episode of all time according to Cagematch.net which is a database that allows wrestling fans to rate episodes on a score from 0 to 10.

The episode currently sits at a 0.57 rating - the current worst in the show’s 30-year history.
The sentiment was certainly shared online.
One wrote: “This was straight up the worst RAW of the year. GARBAGE.”

Another said: “That’s it, worst Raw in history. I’m done.”
A third tweeted: “Seriously though the worst RAW after Mania ever this has Vince McMahon written all over it, if this is what we are to expect from the UFC owning the company then this is crap.”
Meanwhile, wrestling publication PWInsider Elite reported that McMahon was firmly back in charge of WWE creative.
The report claims there were several last-minute rewrites for the show and a tonne of changes coming directly from Vince.
