WWE legend Randy Orton casually took to Instagram recently to show off his brand-new private jet.

The 40-year-old is one of the biggest stars of the modern era and is a certainty for the Hall of Fame when he retires.

He signed a huge five-year-deal with WWE in the winter and with that, it seems 'The Viper' has decided to go big on his travel.

Orton posted a selfie of himself sat on the plane while pulling a face to the camera.

The 13-time world champion captioned the image with: "F--ked around bought a plane. #greatest #wrestling #match #ever #whatarib #hatebutidontblameyou."

Orton is said to be worth $11 million and is one of the highest paid stars in Vince McMahon's promotion.

After signing his contract extension last year, he tweeted: "The 3 most dangerous letters in sports entertainment - #RKO.

"Just re-signed with the three most dominant letters in sports entertainment - #WWE.

"Looking forward to pi$$ing off the #WWEUNIVERSE for at least 5 more years."

Orton has been in the main event of two WrestleMania events and is currently embroiled in a feud with fellow legend Edge.

The duo faced off at WrestleMania 36 in a Last Man Standing match which was won by the 'Rated-R Superstar' in brutal fashion.

The RAW superstars are set to go at it again at Backlash on June 10 in a match being dubbed as 'The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever' by WWE.

Orton's huge contract has him third in the company's highest earners over the last calendar year.

Forbes reports he could be earning 'as much as $6 million in 2020 and beyond.'

Top of the current roster rich-list is Brock Lesnar.

It comes as no surprise the former UFC star is rated highly by the company and he earns a $10 million salary.

Lesnar reportedly signed his deal last year to fend off interest from upstart promotion All Elite Wrestling.

Also making the top ten list from Forbes are Seth Rollins and WWE executive vice president of global talent strategy and development Paul 'Triple H' Levesque.
