Rey Mysterio’s Son Recalls Eddie Guerrero’s Touching Gesture During WWE Segment

Rey Mysterio's son has opened up about his incredible heart-warming experience of working with the legendary Eddie Guerrero in a WWE storyline.

Dominick was thrust into an on-screen WWE role as his real-life father battled with Hall of Famer Guerrero over his paternal custody in a 2005 story angle.

During the latest episode of WWE Untold, dubbed 'Rey, Eddie & The Rumble,' Mysterio's son recalled a controversially dark segment that he filmed with Guerrero in the park.

But behind the scenes Dominick revealed that the legendary wrestler repeatedly checked on him and would offer him Twizzlers.

He explained: "I remember very vividly the scene where I was filming with Eddie in the park.

"We did maybe five or six takes, and after every take he'd ask me, 'Are you okay?'

"And then he would hand me a Twizzler."

"I believe I was in the third grade at the time," he said.

"Everyone would ask me, 'So who really is your dad? Is it Eddie? Is it Rey?'

"And I'd be like, 'Well, it's Rey.' That was always the question every time I got back.

"Still to this day people are like, 'So who really is your dad?'"

Mysterio and Guerrero battled it out over custody for Dominick in a ladder match at SummerSlam in 2005.

WWE legend Mysterio emerged victorious at the pay-per-view and their feud ended shortly after Guerrero picked up a win in a steel cage match.

But the WWE legend passed away in 2005 after he was found unconscious in his hotel room.

Guerrero, who was 38 at the time, died of acute heart failure that was caused from atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.
