Paul 'Triple H' Levesque has admitted that he would "absolutely" welcome CM Punk and AJ Lee to make a sensational WWE return.
Punk, 41, was one of the top stars with WWE in the 2010s before his relationship deteriorated with the company, eventually retiring from wrestling in 2014.
And AJ Lee, who is married to Punk, also shot to stardom with the WWE before retiring from wrestling in 2015.

WWE chief brand officer Stephanie McMahon previously said that she would love the pair to make their return to the company.
And Triple H, who is executive vice president of WWE's talent, live events and creative, echoed Stephanie's sentiments about Punk and AJ Lee.
Speaking on a conference call ahead of NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II, he said: "Yeah, you know, I think what Steph was saying is that, in the right circumstances, if it's good for fans and it's something that would be good for everybody, then absolutely.

"They were both phenomenal performers -- incredible performers. If it was right for them, for the company, for everybody involved, then absolutely.
"I don't think that's ever been a factor: you know of somebody saying, 'Well, this person should be or that person should be.'
"Incredible talent [is] always incredible talent, but there's so much more to the business than just being a talented performer.

"Again, I can fantasy book and say I'd like to be young again, but that ain't gonna happen either.
"In the perfect world, yeah. Sure. I think you've heard Vince [McMahon] echo that statement a million times over the years: 'Never say never.'
"And you see people come in and come out and performers and talent, and if it's right for fans and it delivers and it's right for everybody else business-wise, then it's something that can happen."

Punk, real name Phillip Brooks, made a sensational appearance on WWE Backstage as an analyst in November 2019.
But the 41-year-old former wrestler, who has hinted that he could return to wrestling, is under contract with Fox and not WWE.
