Ben Simmons Has Posted His Latest Workout Video And Fans Aren't Quite Sure What To Think

Sixers fans have seen it all before.

Ben Simmons is being roasted by basketball fans after he posted a video of himself draining threes during a pre-season workout.

The Aussie, who decided to sit out of the Olympic Games in Tokyo to "work on skill development", recently teamed up with NBA veteran Rajon Rondo to work on his shooting ahead of the new season.

But after Simmons posted a clip on social media of the duo in action, it received a different reaction to what he was probably expecting.

To put it simply, NBA fans aren't being fooled and have seen this sort of stuff from the Philadelphia 76ers guard before.

In the footage, Simmons and Rondo can be seen easily scoring three-pointers with flawless technique - and to be honest, they both look deadly from deep.

But Sixers die-hards aren't convinced and were quick to point out that there was absolutely zero defensive pressure at all during the drills.

Interestingly, some eagle-eyed social media users noticed that Simmons is still using his left hand to shoot, despite being right-handed by all accounts.

As you can probably imagine, fans had a field day on social media upon seeing the clip of Simmons' practise session.

This time last year, Philly fans were excited when new vision emerged of Simmons dropping bombs during a practise session to work on his jump shots.

Now, just 12 months later, and a similar video hasn't exactly evoked the same reaction.

Simmons finished the season in disappointing fashion, crashing out of the NBA Eastern Conference semifinals at the hands of Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks.

On a personal level, Simmons registered the worst free thrown percentage in NBA postseason history with just 34.2% and his unwillingness (or perhaps inability) to shoot resulted in Sixers fans calling for him to be traded.

Initial reports suggested he could be shipped off to the Golden State Warriors, although the latest rumours are linking him with a move to Portland with Philly officials reportedly interested in working out a trade deal to acquite Damian Lillard.
