Snowboarder Zoi Sadowski-Synnott clinched New Zealand's first ever Winter Olympic gold medal with a famous victory in her very last ride of the women's slopestyle.
It was a historic moment for the 20-year-old as she was mobed by her fellow competitors when the final scores were announced.

For Sadowski-Synnott, she'll undoubtedly be celebrating long into the night, but it appears she has been slightly upstaged by here own father.
In the wake of his daughter's amazing accomplishment, Sadowski-Synnott's dad gave a hilarious yet brilliant interview where he got a tad carried away.
Sean Synott ended up dropping two f-bombs during a live television cross - not that anyone cared though.

"The only thing I looked for was her younger sister's reaction," he told Newshub.
"She was (going) f**king crazy, she was going off the roof.
"I'm pretty f**king excited, to be honest, and I'm really happy to see all the investment from all of these people has turned out."
Sadowski-Synnott's brother also made an appearance on television later in the day.

"I'm at totally new levels of stokedness," he said.
People on social media were loving the proud reaction of Zoi's family, one user perhaps summing it up best by saying: "If I ever win an Olympic medal my dad better be at least this excited for me."
The women's slopestyle event well and truly went down to the wire.

Having already clinched silver, Sadowski-Synnott had the chance to steal a gold medal from right under Julia Marino's nose.
And as the last name on the run list, all eyes were on the Kiwi fan favourite.
The flawless run ended up earning her a score of 92.88 which surpassed USA star Marino's impressive tally of of 87.68.
The last-gasp victory saw Sadowski-Synnott clinch gold while Marino finished second and Australia's Tess Coady bagged bronze.
