Chris Eubank Jr tweets old, damning video of Conor Benn and it's gone viral

Chris Eubank Jr shared an old video of Conor Benn talking about a failed drug test.

Chris Eubank Jr has shared an old video of Conor Benn talking about a failed drug test following the postponement of their bout.

Eubank Jr and Benn were set to clash at the O2 Arena on Saturday in a catchweight showdown.

But the all-British affair was postponed as a result of Benn's adverse finding when he was tested at the end of August.

The substance the undefeated boxer tested positive for is clomifene, which is a female fertility drug that can also boost testosterone levels in men.

Eubank Jr took to social media to react to the postponement of his fight with Benn.

He tweeted: "Conor got caught using an illegal substance so the fight is off. Can’t believe it. I really apologise to the fans & everyone that bought tickets, traveled & booked hotels, this should not of happened.

"He has escaped his schooling... for now."

The 33-year-old also uploaded a damning video of Benn giving his thoughts on Jarrell Miller's positive drug test in the lead-up to his proposed heavyweight battle against Anthony Joshua in 2019.

In the clip, Benn takes aim at the American heavyweight for jeopardising the biggest fight of his career over a banned substance.

"I can't believe it! Biggest night of your life, biggest fight of your career and you test positive for a banned substance," he says in the video. "It baffles me."

Benn added: "My nutritionist has a got at me for taking vitamin c tablets if they haven't been tested.

"So, his team he's got around him should say 'listen check all your substances'."

Benn's comments from three years ago mirrors his own situation, having - for now - missed out on the biggest moment of his career.

Though Matchroom and Wasserman Boxing's joint statement suggests the fight will be rearranged for a later date.
